We store personal data about you when you opt-in on a Connect card. The connect card gives us your name, your phone number and your email address, which allows us to keep in contact with you and inform you about events and activities in the church community.

If you have selected to opt-in, we will enter these details into our church database and send you an invite to "My ChurchSuite", an online application that will allow you to maintain your own data. You can choose to add your address, amend contact details, update your marital status, and link your children to your data.

We use your data to set up serving rotas, document key dates such as membership start date, and small groups you attend. This data is used only for communication and organising church life such as events, courses, serving rotas, small groups and children's ministry. For example, we document any allergies and medical information your children may have to ensure they are kept safe in our children’s ministry.

Using your My ChurchSuite login (provided when we add you into our database), you can view and edit the data we have for you. Additionally you can manage your privacy settings to restrict what other church members may see about you in the address book. You can also view any rota duties or events coming up and get in contact with other members of the church.

If you choose to opt out or delete your data, please note that we will no longer be able to get in contact with you, notify you of any important information and you will no longer have access to the church address book. We would still need to document data on your children for legal and safeguarding purposes. This is normally done through a “Visiting Children Form” each Sunday.

Please be assured that we are taking every measure to keep all your data secure and we do not share this information with anyone.

Helping the poor "out there" is meaningless if we are not helping the poor "in here". We felt very clearly that, as a church, we need to provide first for the poor among us. Jesus said that we would always have the poor among us (John 12:8), but we also know that we are blessed and able to provide for those among us:

Deuteronomy 15:4 However, there need be no poor people among you, for in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess as your inheritance, he will richly bless you,

Jesus taught that, whatever we did for the least of of brothers and sisters (in the church), we do for him (Matt 25:40). There are many organisations that serve the poor globally, and that is a good thing. But for us personally, we are called to serve the poor among us. We need to see the whites of the eyes of the people we are helping, in other words serving the poor, for us, flows out of relationship.

Once we have cared for the needs within our church, we take care of the needs of those we are reaching out to within the community.

We take up a special offering once a month and stock our pantry at the Vineyard Centre. Papa's Pantry is open on Fridays between 2 and 4 pm, and people in our church can come and get a bag of groceries for the princely sum of £1. This is private, confidential, and by appointment only. You can contact Jeanette or Rachel at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to set up an appointment.

This focus group is open to anyone who wants to grow in their walk with God. You can join us for a semester, or the whole year. We will meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm to 10pm, and each semester will be about 12 weeks. The aim of this group is to equip you for every good work Jesus has prepared for you, from the ability to get more out of the Bible, the ability to minister to others with confidence and trust, and the ability to influence people through Godly leadership.

Our aim will be to make you develop a deep and abiding love for Scripture. We will begin with an Introduction to Biblical Study, learning to study and interpret the Bible through Philemon and Galatians, and covering a range of books like Deuteronomy, Kings, the Wisdom Literature, and New Testament books like Acts, Romans, the Johannine Letters and Revelation.

In this semester we will seek to impart God's heart for people, along with the ministry skills, trust and confidence to make a difference. God's desire is that all people be saved, healed and free to pursue His purposes for them. We will look at foundational principles for Healing, our Authority as Kingdom Citizens, Words of Knowledge, the Healing Prayer model, including demonstration and practice, testimonies, impartation, teaching and prayer. We will also focus on developing prophetic gifting through hearing God and learning the basics for preaching the gospel - from witness, to teaching and preaching.

Our final semester will focus on godly leadership as influence, seeking to impart the ability to influence people into a deeper relationship with God and fulfilling their God-given purposes in life. We will look at Personality, Identity and Spiritual Warfare, Spiritual Gifting and Passion, Doing Church, Church Leadership, our CORE small group leaders' training, touching on subjects like Empowering Leadership, Natural Church Development and finishing off with Mentoring, Coaching and Encouragement.

It is our prayer that this focus group will lead to lasting personal transformation in your life, and that you may be used mightily for the glory of Jesus!

If you are interested in joining us on this journey, please note that we may ask for a £5 per Semester contribution for the material used. Please contact the Church Office or pick up an application form at one of our Sunday services.

 Thank you

We look forward to seeing you there!

 James 1:25

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

John 5:19

Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
