Nepenthes ampullaria, BE-3681Nepenthes ampullaria is a classic lowland species occurring throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, and Papua New Guinea. This clone was selectively bred from two of the best individuals in cultivation (Williams Red x Harlequin). This Borneo Exotics clone (BE 3681) exhibits bright red coloration with some light green striping. This species makes a great specimen for a warm terrarium or greenhouse. Since the pitchers have evolved to feed on detritus
